The founders of the Spice group have well over 40 years of experience providing professional services. We think we understand some of what the typical expat needs
Martin is a British national who has lived in Singapore since 2011, he is also a Singapore PR.
During Martin’s professional time as a UK tax specialist spent with a handful of financial advisors in Singapore he could see the opportunity to provide a range a further professional services to the clients he dealt with.
He has a degree in German with International Business from Surrey University and is a Fellow of the Association of Taxation Technicians in the UK. He is engaged to Jean Mery and is dad to Daniel. Outside of work, Martin is a keen pianist and is a regular worshipper at St. Georges Church in Dempsey.
Martin Rimmer
Mark is a British national who has lived in Singapore since 2002, he is also a Singapore PR.
During over 20 years as an expat Mark has personally dealt with the challenges of obtaining high level professional advice and a range of ancillary services relating to offshore property and investments whilst in Singapore.
Prior to Spice Advisory, Mark’s professional experience was almost exclusively working as a Partner in the management consultancy divisions with two of the “Big 4” firms. But his outside interests in finance, investments, property developing and wine were completely aligned and instrumental in the establishment of Spice Advisory.

We are neither affiliated nor beholden to typical financial services and property companies, and we are uninfluenced by the products they provide. This frees us to provide truly impartial and unbiased advice which serves your best interests. Where a need for services, which we cannot provide, is identified we will, with your permission, match you with the most suitable provider of those services based on our experiences, ongoing due diligence and feedback from clients.
We are Transparent.
Because we are independent and unbiased, we can be transparent in our advice. We also disclose our fees and charges at the outset and account for them openly. Where referrals are made to appropriate third parties we will disclose any financial arrangement to you.
We are Balanced.
We recognise that looking after our personal financial affairs is a high priority. But we also recognise that it is not the only high priority. We take your business extremely seriously, but we also recognise there needs to be a balance in life and we endeavour to achieve that in our business dealings with you and through our Spice Lifestyle division.
